Change and Cancellation Policy for the Kiilopää Skiing Event

Changes and Cancellations

Through the self-service link, you can make the following changes free of charge until November 14, 2026:

• Transfer your participation to another skier.
• Switch your race category by paying the difference in the participation fee according to the current price range. No refund will be given if switching to a cheaper category.
• Change your skiing style (free/classic).
• Transfer your registration to the 2027 event.

For changes made after November 14, 2026, a change fee of 15 € will be charged.

Illness and Medical Reasons

In case of illness, the procedure is as above.  The right to participate can be transferred to the following year’s event or to another person via the self-service link in the registration system.

Organizer’s Right to Cancel or Make Changes

If the Kiilopää Skiing Event must be canceled due to snow conditions or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control (e.g. war, epidemic, natural disaster or a ban, order or recommendation issued by an authority, force majeure), the participation fee and registration will be transferred in full to the next year’s event.

If the route needs to be shortened or changed due to difficult snow conditions or other reasons beyond the organizer’s control, no refund will be given, and participants are not entitled to a price reduction or any other compensation. Refunds are valid until the following year’s Kiilopää Ski Event. The refund is no longer valid after this.
